The Diversity
Charter in Spain

The European Commission entrusted one institution in each country with developing and implementing the Diversity Charter; Fundación Diversidad has been solely responsible for that mission in Spain since 2009. This initiative encourages companies, organisations and institutions to join the cause of diversity and inclusion and become part of a community of private and public organisations that share the same principles of workplace diversity and inclusion across Europe.

Promoting diversity management and inclusion practices

In Spanish companies and institutions of any size and sector, as well as in public bodies at national, regional and local level, as a strategic lever for greater effectiveness and competitiveness.

Promoting everyone's right to equality and non-discrimination

Without discrimination on grounds of age, origin, religion, beliefs, sex, gender, disability, etc., so that everyone has the same opportunities to access, remain and progress at work while balancing family and professional life.

Promoting research and the exchange of good practices

Fostering the exchange of good practices and results in diversity, equity and inclusion among the companies and entities that have signed the Charter.
