The Foundation

The foundation Fundación para la Diversidad was created in 2009 by the European Institute for Diversity Management and Fundación Alares. Our main goal is to promote and implement the Diversity Charter in Spain among companies and public institutions, and to become a support for the implementation of diversity and inclusion policies and strategies in Spain.

This initiative seeks to encourage companies and institutions to take part in the diversity and inclusion in the workplace cause, in any way each company or institution is comfortable with or is able to take part in this diversity and inclusion agenda. This way, we hope to create a community of Spanish private and public organizations that share the same diversity and inclusion in the workplace principles.

The European Commission supports this mission and the work of the Diversity Charters that exist in the European Union through the European Platform of Diversity Charters and the European Diversity Month, among other initiatives.
